Episode 30: The Other Talk for Women

Like ninety nine percent of all females, Nancy remembers when her twelve year-old body began to change. She describes the subsequent conversation with her mother as extremely awkward. Fast-forward to her late 40's when she was equally ill-prepared for another hormonal change: menopause! The co-hosts discuss lessons learned from this season of life and the importance of being an advocate for related self-care.

Resources mentioned during the conversation include a TED Talk that highlights how menopause affects the brain, and the book, "Successful Aging: A Neuroscientist Explores the Power and Potential of Our Lives."
